I'd just like to note that this is the first time I've done sculpture from a live model and I've never been very interested in realistic rendering so--with that in mind--I think I did pretty well. There's a lot of things of course that could be better, but I didn't have very much time to work on this and, as I said, I'm a novice.
I almost lost this entire piece actually, while hollowing it, because I put it on a cloud platform that completely fell to pieces...luckily the figure survived. Ceramics Spring '09 Stoneware |
